The Genesee County Clerk’s Office has ruled that over five thousand petition signatures calling for the recall of Flint mayor Karen Weaver are valid.
Weaver has until July 31 to challenge the signatures before the recall is placed on the November ballot.
Critics are upset with her handling of the Flint water crises.
