A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for a Detroit woman charged with driving over her boyfriend and killing him.
20 year old Danisha Mathis is charged with first degree murder in the death of 25 year old Terrence Hicks, who is also from Detroit.
Witnesses say they saw the two arguing in her car at about 9:15 in the evening on June 14th … that Hicks got out and began running away.
Police say she drove up onto the sidewalk on West Seven Mile near Trinity and hit him, dragging him under her car.
Prosecutors say she then fled the scene as the body eventually became dislodged.
She was identified and arrested some three hours later.
