Monroe Police say a man tried to abduct a 12 year old boy last night in front of the boy’s home on Eastchester street in Monroe.
Police say the man pulled up in a red Pontiac van and told the boy to get in. The boy ran back into his house. The van left. It was found abandoned later. Police describe the man as white, in his 40’s or 50’s, with several tatoos and wearing a black hat.
