It’s been years in the making. Little Caesars Area is being showcased this week.
it includes a public tour the arena on Saturday.
The showing of the new arena will take place Saturday from 2 until 8pm.
It’s free, but you must pick up a ticket at the Fox theater or Joe Louis Arena box offices.
There is a four ticket limit.
Tickets will not be available the day of the event.
Ticket holders are advised to arrive 45 minutes before their reserved tour time at the Comerica bank entrance on the corner of Woodward and Henry.
Free parking will be available.
There will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting for the new arena at 11 this morning. It is an invitation-only event, but t will be live streamed on DistrictDetroit.com.
Other events this week showcasing the new arena include a charity premiere on Friday and a 5-K race on Sunday.
