In Washington today, the Senate Judiciary Committee meets to hold a nomination hearing for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Joan Larsen.
The former University of Michigan law professor was nominated in May by President Trump for a seat on the U-S 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
If confirmed by the senate, Larsen would replace Michigan Judge David McKeague, who is taking senior status.
