Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan has chosen Quicken Loans chairman Dan Gilbert to recruit a regional team to present a proposal to convince Amazon to build a second headquarters in Detroit.
Detroit Regional Chamber says that officials and community leaders are completing the choosing of the regional Amazon bid team members.
Duggan insists that Detroit has a shot at landing the headquarters, which could bring with it 50,000 jobs.
