Two children were seriously hurt after their mother crashed her car into a tree on Detroit’s east side.
The 35-year-old woman was drunk and driving north on Chene Street at a high speed when she lost control of the car and ran head-on into a tree.
A 12 year old girl is in critical condition, an 8 year old boy is in stable condition. The mother is in custody at a hospital.
