A 21 year old man may be set free in a hearing which starts today, for a murder he committed when he was 12.
Demarco Harris shot and killed Trisha Babcock of Davison as Harris tried to rob her while she was in her car in Detroit in August of 2009.
Harris was 12, and sentenced for the murder as a juvenile.
Now he’s 21, and the juvenile sentence is expired.
The judge has the option of setting Harris free, or keeping him in jail.
