Macomb Classes Back On After Lockdown

Macomb Community College was on lockdown for about three hours after a man with a gun was  reported  near the Center Campus off Hall Road near Garfield Road in Clinton Twp. No man was found. Classes resume as normal.

Students were locked in their classrooms after a doctor told police he saw a man with a rifle.

For nearly three hours students and teachers stayed in classrooms, turned off the lights and locked the doors as police searched for the gunman.

Police didn’t find the gunman and called off the search. MCC has thousands of students on campus for evening classes.
