She refused to have her young son vaccinated, and now an Oakland County mother is in jail.
Rebecca Bredow was found in contempt of court and sentenced to 7 days in jail for not following a court order to vaccinate her son.
Oakland County Circuit Judge Karen MacDonald says there are consequences for not following the courts rules.
Bredow was taken to court by her ex-husband, who wants the boy to get his shots against childhood diseases. The mother says its against her beliefs.
“Dad gets his say”, said Judge MacDonald.
