A Macomb Township man is in custody after stealing an ambulance.
Authorities say Med-Star EMT’s were inside an area hospital to drop off a patient — when the 21 year old left the hospital, hopped in the ambulance and drove off. It happened just before 7 o’clock Saturday evening. The man then led police on a wild goose chase through Mt. Clemens. At one point, the man went off roading in the ambulance before he was arrested. The man’s been charged with a felony count of Unlawful Driving — and will be arraigned on Tuesday
