Family Of Dead Marine Recruit Sues

The family of a Marine recruit from Taylor is suing the Marines, the Navy, and others who they say caused the death of the 20 year old.
The Marines say 20 year old Raheel Siddiqui was killed falling down 3 flights of stairs at boot camp.
The lawsuit by his parents charges he was assaulted, hazed, and suffered discrimination because he was a Muslim. The family also charges the government declared his death a suicide in March of last year without conducting a full investigation.

The lawsuit suggests another Marine killed him.

Siddiqui died during a confrontation with drill sergeant Joseph Felix. Felix has been accused of mistreating another Muslim recruit, and faces charges in military court of mistreating Siddiqui.
