No more boil water advisories. The water flow in Oakland County is back to normal. An advisory affected 12 Oakland County communities for the better part of a week. The last of it has been lifted in northwest Farmington Hills.
More than 300,000 people were impacted. The disruption started last Monday after a 48-inch water main broke on 14 Mile near Drake. That caused a loss of water pressure in the water transmission system.
