Detroit and many other communities will have fun events for Halloween night.
Detroit has 25 locations of events, including a haunted park at Varier Park on Thatcher Street… a haunted house at the 11th precinct… a party and a hayride at the 12th precinct… a haunted D-DOT bus at the 10th precinct…. all police and fire stations will hand out candy… all 10 Detroit rec centers will have something going on. like carnival games, a train ride, and an exotic zoo.
The City is still looking for volunteers to patrol, watch their block or turn on their porch light. Volunteers should check in at one of the seven deployment locations beginning at 5 p.m. or sign up online.
