Angel’s Night No Longer Needed

The angels did their job.
The city of Detroit is ending the Angels’ Night patrols after three straight years of what officials are calling normal fire activity.

Angels’ Night patrols were created to fight arson during the Halloween period. The mayor and police chief said the three days now will be treated like any other.

The city will emphasize a new focus on children’s activities centered around Halloween.
