ID’s Of Victims, Driver in Fatal Crash

A Wolverine Lake man who was the wrong-way driver in a fatal wreck in Canton has been released from police custody.
Wolverine Lake city council issued a statement saying that a member of the council, Mike Stack, was the driver.
The victims have been identified as 33-year-old Nicholas Pare of Wayne and 32-year-old Shannon McIntyre of Woodhaven. They were engaged to be married.
State Police say Stack was behind the wheel of the SUV that crossed the median of the freeway in Canton and slammed into the other car. No charges have been filed. Police are waiting for toxicology test results.
