A man convicted of killing a jogger in Muskegeon County is sentenced today to life in prison without parole.
The suspect is also charged in a notorious missing person case.
Jeffrey Willis denied any role in the 2014 shooting death of the woman.
A jury disagreed and convicted him of first degree murder in less than 2 hours of deliberations.
Prosecutors described him as pure evil.
Willis has two other cases pending against him.
One involves the 2013 disappearance and suspected murder of a Muskegon-area gas station clerk whose body has never been found.
The other involved his arrest last year when a teenager said he tried to kidnap her.
This charge led to his arrest in the slaying of the jogger and the disappearance of the gas station clerk.
