Auto Parts Shooting In Court

Two of the three people charged in the murder of the manager of an O’Reilly’s Auto Parts store in Detroit are due in court today for a preliminary examination.
James Haller , a retired Marine and Vietnam veteran, was killed during an robbery at the store on Schaefer on the city’s west side in November.

Two women had entered the store and demanded the cash from the register.

Haller was shot in the head as he rushed from the back of the store.

The woman charged with pulling the trigger was identified as 23 year old Shawnta Anderson.

She has been ordered to undergo mental competency exam.

Due in court today are 28 year old Eboni McEwen-Ross and 38 year old Leviticus Butler.

Police say Ross grabbed the money from the cash register following the shooting and that Butler was the getaway driver.
