Unsolved Murders Haunt Families, Police

The holidays are sad times for two area families. Police continue to search for the murderers of two women.

16 year old Paige Stalker of Grosse Pointe and 22 year old Christina Samuel of Detroit were killed in separate shootings just two days apart in December of 2014.

Stalker was killed December 22nd as she sat in a car on Detroit’s east side with 3 other high school students.

Samuel, a law student, was killed 2 days later, on Christmas Eve, as she was sitting in her car.

Both families met following the shooting and joined forces in their effort to find those responsible.

They say they continue to lean on each other for support and encouragement.

Rewards remain in effect in both cases.
