The new year has brought with it a new express bus service that links downtown Detroit and Metro Airport.
SMART buses are now operating a high-frequency service that provides direct connection to the airport as well as limited bus service linking the suburbs to the downtown area.
SMART General Manager John Hertel says the new service will make the commute from the suburbs into Detroit quicker and more convenient for riders.
