Contact With Ex-Student Sinks School Chief

The superintendent of schools for the Clarkston school district has resigned after having a relationship with a former student.
The ex-superintendent, Dr. Rod Rock, told the Clarkston school board that the relationship started as a friendship, but became inappropriate. Rock said it became inappropriate after the student graduated. Rock said the former student is now 19.
The school district did not disclose when the relationship took place.
Rock had been on the job for 14 days.
