New Developments In Flint Water Case

A lawsuit filed on behalf of the residents of Flint against the state of Michigan will be allowed to proceed in court. That decision by the State Court of Appeals.

A former Flint Emergency Manager, Jerry Ambrose, has waived a preliminary exam in the charges against him. That suggests a plea bargain may have been accepted. More information is expected next week. Ambrose was one of two EM’s in charge when Flint switched it’s water source in 2014, triggering contamination of the system. Ambrose and Darnell Earley had been appointed by Gov. Snyder.
