An Oakland County Circuit Court jury is hearing the trial of a Warren couple for the death of a 16 year old girl who overdosed on
drugs that they had supplied for the victim.
Testimony is continues in the trial of 41 year old Leslie Metcalfe and 56 year old Donald McCoy.
Prosecutors say they gave Sirena Lawson heroin.
She overdoes and died last January at Metcalfe’s home in the Landmark Estates mobile home park in Warren.
It is also charged that Metcalfe failed to get help for the girl when he realized she was having trouble breathing because she was more worried about an outstanding warrant she had for a
domestic violence charge in Warren.
The charges against Metcalfe and McCoy are 15 year felonies.
