West Michigan School Boss Faces Prison

The former superintendent of the Benton Harbor-area schools is facing up to 15 years in prison.

Leonard Seawood is to be sentenced today after being convicted of five counts of embezzlement stemming from payouts he received for unused vacation days.

He had contended during his trial that he had received authorization for the payouts.

He had been arrested and charged following a lengthy investigation by Michigan State Police.
