Another Detroit Police officer has died while on duty.
Chief Craig says 25 year old officer Darren Weathers was killed in a car crash while Weathers was involved in a training exercise in Southwest Detroit.
The crash, at Michigan and Clark, involved a second vehicle that hit Officer Weathers vehicle, which crashed into a metal pylon.
People in the other vehicle were not seriously hurt.
Officer Weathers had been on the force for less than 2 years.
