More Pothole Money Is Coming

The state legislature is poised to send more money to county and state agencies for road repair. The House okays 175 million for roads, in addition to what is currently budgeted. Democrats wanted to take 75 million from the state’s rainy day fund. Republicans opposed, and they defeated the effort to funnel even more money into road repairs. The senate is poised to pass this increase in road repair money next week.
