A northern Michigan woman has pleaded guilty in the death of her infant daughter. It was the second child she has killed.
32 year old Lisa Bryan admits she slept with her baby daughter Isabella close to her, woke up and found the baby dead. That was in 2016.
Bryan has worked a plea deal with the Emmet County prosecutor, pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter. Bryan will be sentenced in April.
Bryan has been in this situation before. In 2010, another one of her babies died while Bryan was taking a bath with her. Bryan pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree manslaughter, and served a year in jail. The maximum sentence in the latest conviction is 22 years, but Bryan could be released after serving the minimum time.
