Villanova is coming off a record-setting performance in the Final Four victory against Kansas with 18 3-pointers. Villanova is the heavy favorite in tonite’s title game, and has been the number-one ranked team for much of the college basketball season. But Michigan is the hottest team.
Coach John Beilein knows, his team faces a difficult task.
“They embrace the ways this game should be played,” says Beilein.
Villanova coach Jay Wright pays respect to the Wolverines.
“They’re the Big 10 champions. It’s a thrill to play them,” says Wright.
The game starts at about 9:20 pm and is being played in San Antonio.
