Coffee Chemical: Is It Safe?

Don’t worry about the acrylomide in your coffee. Nutrition expert Dr. Tom Rifai tells Steve Courtney the cream and sugar may be worse for you than the chemical acrylomide, which is produced in the coffee roasting process.

“In humans, we have found no evidence that acrylomide is linked to cancer,” Rifai says.
