Cop Shooter Mental Exam Reviewed

A man charged in the fatal shooting of a Detroit police officer is due back in court today.

25 year old police officer Glenn Doss and his partner were responding to a domestic violence complaint back on January 24th.

Doss was still in his patrol car when shots rang out.

He was hit in the head and died several days later in the hospital.

43 year old Decharlos Brooks was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.

At his arraignment, his attorney requested a competency exam.

The judge agreed.

Brook is due back in court today for a review of his examination.
