Detroit police say they have a man in custody in connection with the shooting of a 3 year old girl.
She was shot in the head and is in critical condition.
Police say the girl was sitting in the back seat of her mother’s car Saturday afternoon near a gas station on Livernois.
Two men nearby were yelling at each other.
A fight ensued and a gun was pulled.
Shots were fired and the girl was hit.
It is the third shooting of a young child in the city in recent days.
