GP Park Family Killed In Crash

A community is in shock after a Grosse Pointe Park family of four was killed in Colorado in a crash.

Thomas and Christina Toth, and their 2 daughters, aged 8 and 11 were in Colorado for a ski trip.

Authorities said the crash involved a semi that jackknifed on an icy freeway, I-76,
blocking the entire eastbound lanes of I -76.

Police say the vehicle hit the semi and went underneath it. The crash took off the top of the car.

All four died at the scene.
Grief counselors were at Maire Elementary in Grosse Pointe where the girls, Sofia and Elly, attended class.
Tom Toth worked in the auto industry.
Christina Toth was an attorney.
