It came from space and landed in Michigan.

Now, its about to be put up for grabs.

It was this past January when there was a fiery flash in the sky in the Detroit-area as a meteorite hit the ground.

A piece was found in Livingston County by Ashley Moritz of Royal Oak and is now among the items on display at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

It will be available for purchase at an online auction starting next week.

It starts on Tuesday and will run through April 17th.

It is not known what it could bring, but a news release indicates meteorites in the Christies collection are estimated to be worth between 50 and 250-thousand dollars.
