The 18 year old who slammed into an accident scene on I-96 last year, killing a doctor and critically injuring a teenager, is due in court today for his sentencing.
Keith Martin of Detroit was drunk and had been smoking marijuana when he slammed into the scene. An SUV hit an open manhole, and overturned.
Dr. Cynthia Ray stopped to help. She was on her way to Henry Ford Hospital.
Sean English and his family stopped to help.
Sean had to have part of a leg amputated. Dr. Ray was killed.
Martin pleaded no contest to causing the accident.
