Reckless Shooter May Face Trial

A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for a Detroit man charged with the shooting and wounding of a 3 year old girl.
24 year old Exel Taylor has been charged with attempted murder.

Taylor got into an argument on April 7th with a 28 year old man at a gas station on Livernois.

It turned physical.

Prosecutors say he grabbed a gun out of his car and started shooting.

The 3 year old girl was in a car with her mother.

She was hit in the arm.

Taylor fled on foot but was arrested later that same day.

The girl was taken to the hospital and is recovering.
