Voters Will Decide Pot, Projects

Michigan’s elections officials say enough signatures have been gathered for ballot issues to legalize marijuana for any use and repeal a law requiring higher wages on state construction projects.

The Board of State Canvassers will meet Thursday. If the board approves the findings, the proposed legislation will go to the Legislature.

The proposals will get a statewide vote in November if lawmakers do not act.
