Barra Makes $22 Million, But That’s A Pay Cut

Mary Barra took a pay cut last year as head of GM. But  she still did alright.

GM CEO Mary Barra made nearly 22-million dollars in 2017. Her total compensation fell nearly 3-percent.
A U-S financial filing discloses that Barra had a 2 pt 1-million dollar base salary, up 100-thousand.
But she received less in short-term incentives and stock grants tied to the company’s performance.

Other GM executives also had slight cuts due to missing higher performance targets.

Still, GM President Dan Amman had total compensation of 9 pt 3 million, Global Product Development chief Mark Reuss 7 pt 7 million, and Chief Financial Officer Chuck Stevens 7 pt 1 million.
