Will Detroit get a major aquarium?
The people who run the Detroit Zoo are exploring it.
They’d like to put a big aquarium somewhere in downtown Detroit… a tourist attraction that zoo director Ron Kagan says would be a big deal around here.
One possible site for the aquarium– the Ford Auditorium, which was torn down in 20-11. The lot is vacant, but there’s an underground parking garage.
