Possible Storms Headed Our Way

Parts of the Midwest and Plains states will likely see severe weather today and tonight. The disturbance could hang around in some areas.

The Storm Prediction Center is indicating a slight to moderate threat for severe convection from the Central Plains to the Middle Mississippi Valley this afternoon through the overnight hours. The main threat is large hail but a few tornadoes are possible. Meanwhile, a fire weather threat remains in effect for the drought stricken Four Corners into Southern Plains and across the Great Lakes.
