Training Going On At WSU For First Responders

THE FBI, DETROIT POLICE, WAYNE STATE POLICE AND THE WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE ALONG WITH OTHER FEDERAL AND LOCAL POLICE WILL CONDUCT A TRAINING EXERCISE ON THE WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS UNTIL 3PM
THEY INCLUDE WARREN BETWEEN CASS AND ANTHONY WAYNE DRIVE AND SECOND AVENUE BETWEEN WEST HANCOCK AND WEST WARREN.

Parking restrictions will be in effect on this date in the area of the road closures and vehicles parked within the road closures will be impounded. The hours posted on the No Parking signs will be enforced.

You can expect to see a large presence of law enforcement, fire personnel and EMS, including tactical response vehicles. During the exercise, you may hear simulated gunshots and explosions.
