An Ecorse man charged in the hit-and-run death of an 8 year old Detroit boy is due in court today for a preliminary exam.27 year old Stephen Williams has been charged in the death of Brandon Starks.
Starks, who was autistic, had left his home without his parents knowing and was heading to a nearby park.
It was 5pm on April 9th.
He was hit as he was crossing Fort street near Schaefer.
William fled the scene, but a police investigation aided by citizen tips led to his arrest a few days later.
