F-150 Line Shut Down

Ford is suspending production of the F-150 at the Dearborn Truck Plant due to a fire at a major parts supplier.

It is not clear how long the suspension will last. the supplier is a Chinese company in northern Michigan that is the only maker of the support for radiators.
The fire occurred may 2nd. Ford CEO Jim Hackett tells the Ford shareholder’s meeting that Ford people were there immediately  to get their tooling out of the factory in Eaton Rapids.
