A Holly man who set his wife on fire because she was not cleaning the cat’s litter box is sentenced to at least 11 years in prison. 55 year old David Garnett went to a shed and got some gas, poured it in a hallway of their house, and set it on fire when his wife entered the hallway. Garnett told police he was just trying to scare her.
The wife crawled out a window and rolled around in the snow. She suffered severe burns, and is now in a treatment facility.
