A former Flint Funeral home owner is due in court today on felony fraud charges.
57 year old O’Neil Swanson the second owned the Swanson Funeral Home in Flint.
It was ordered shut last July because of unsanitary conditions.
Now, he has been charged with illegally offering at least 10 prepaid funeral contracts and using the money for personal expenses.
The charge is a 5-year felony.
The Flint funeral home is not connected to funeral homes run in Detroit and Pontiac by his father.
