It was a police chase with officers being fired at.
44 year old Christopher Willoughby of Allen Park is facing charges that could send him to prison for life.
Police had spotted him driving erratically in Bellville just after 8:30 the night of June 11th.
Officers tried to stop him, but he sped away …. firing about 5 shots at them.
He was chased for about three miles before colliding with a second police car.
Officers were then able to subdue him.
He was ordered held on a one million dollar bond pending a preliminary exam today on attempted murder, drunk driving and numerous other charges.
