Prosecutors say he murdered his sister and his brother-in-law and he’s due in court today for an arraignment on first degree murder charges.
57 year old Thomas Lane had been living in the Flat Rock home of his sister and her husband for several months.
The bodies of 56 year old Mark Harris and his wife Catherine Markowski were found shot to death in the home on March 31st.
Prosecutors say Lane then fled in their car.
He was spotted about four hours later in Trenton and arrested.
A handgun was found in the car.
The couple’s 8 year old grandson, who had been playing outside, discovered the bodies when he entered the home.
