Detroit janitors wanted sweeping changes to their pay. They got it.
The union for 17-hundred janitors that work at public venues, like Cobo Center, The Guardian Building, Detroit Metro Airport, and other places, says they have agreed to a contract that contains raises that reach 15 dollars an hour in 3 years.
They are members of the Service Employees International Union.
