One of the first to use advertising in a health-related field, Golden built his practice from one clinic in the First National Building in Detroit in the 1940’s into the Detroit Optometric Centers, and DOC eventually went national and then was bought out.
Dr. Donald Golden lived in Florida for many years. He was 99.
