A Dearborn man is scheduled to be sentenced today for convincing a 13 year old Saint Clair Shores girl to send him a nude selfie.
18 year old Hadi Cherry said he made contact with the girl on Snapchat, and got her to send him a nude photo.
He then started demanding that she send him more pictures.
Police were contacted and Cherry was eventually arrested.
In a plea deal, he pled guilty to a charge of extortion and using a child for immoral purposes.
In exchange, two computer crime charges were dropped, but the extortion charge is a 20 year felony.
