A gunman is in custody for the shooting death of an off-duty Lieutenant with the Port Huron police. A woman who is believed to be the estranged wife of the shooter, and another man, were shot and wounded. The lieutenant was visiting the 29 year old woman at her apartment when the husband showed up, and the shooting occurred. The woman ran to a neighbor for help, the neighbor was also wounded.
Police tracked down the suspect and arrested him at a gas station in Southfield. The woman is in critical condition. The 57 year old neighbor was shot in a leg.
